Keysearch Features
Here is the list of the Keysearch features that make it stand out from other tools in the market.
- Keyword research
- Competitive analysis
- YouTube Research
- Content assistance
- Explorer
- Rank Tracking
- Deep Dive
Keyword Research
The #1 key feature of Keysearch is keyword research. You can research and also find related keywords.
When you enter a seed keyword, it will bring in the results with the following:
- Volume
- Difficulty score
- CPC
- PPC
- Location
Also, it will find other related keywords with the following metrics:
Keyword volume: This is the average volume of the keyword per month.
- CPC: cost per click
- PPC: Pay per click
- KDP (keyword difficulty score)
SERAPs analysis section
The SERAPs analysis section shows the first 10 results and their domain metrics, such as domain authority (DA), page authority (PA), etc.
The KDP (keyword difficulty score) is a great metric that tells you if the keyword is easy or challenging to rank on search engines.
For example, a keyword with a score of 25 is much easier to rank than a keyword with 40.
The difficulty level is based on the colour.
- Blue means very easy
- Green means easy to rank
- Yellow means difficult but still possible
- Red means difficult, not easy to rank.
When researching my blog post keywords, the Keysearch tool provided me with more related keywords to include in my content and rank for those keywords.
This is a great way to find secondary keywords to optimise your content.
Location keyword research: When performing keyword research with Keysearch, you can change your location.
For example, you may want to find the volume of a keyword in the UK, Canada, Germany etc
Filtering your Keyword Research
This is one of the advanced features of Keysearch. You can filter the research based on the following:
- Words to include in the search
- Negative words to exclude
- Number of words in the keyword
- Volume
- CPC
- Score
Research Keywords outside of Google
You can also find related keywords on the following platforms:
- Bing
- Esty
- Ebay
- Amazon
- etc
Search Engine Keyword Suggestions
The tool will also include some related keywords based on other search engine suggestions in the search engine keyword suggestions.
Keysearch makes it easy to save or export keywords.
How To Use Keysearch To Find Long Tail Keywords
One of the features I like most is how simple it is to find long-tail keywords to support a seed keyword or create a post main on low keywords.
Step 1: Enter the seed or primary keyword into the research tool. Let’s say my seed keyword is a Travel affiliate program.
I enter the keyword into the tool. Here are the results.

As you can see, the keyword is competitive; it has a score of 50. I will filter the results.
Step 2: Set the filter for keywords with four or more words. This will give you only long-tail keywords.
Keysearch will output a list of related long-tail keywords with metrics such as keyword difficulty, search volume, etc.
These steps will help you target only keywords with low search volume and low competition.
My results

As you can see, all the related keywords are four words long, and some are low-competition keywords.
Why Long Tail Keywords are essential?
- They are not that competitive.
- Long tail keywords have a high conversion rate.
Quick Difficulty
The Keysearck quick difficulty makes finding difficulty scores for related keywords easy.
For example, if you have a list of keywords and want to know if you can rank on the first page.
You can quickly search to know the score of all the keywords.
You can add up to 50 keywords; use commas to separate them. With quick difficulty, you can use a keyword difficulty score to separate your targeted keywords.
Keywords Lists
The keywords lists section allows users to save their keywords for future purposes.
For example, you have 3 sites. You can create lists for different topics on each site.
Brainstorm
The brainstorming area of the Keysearch shows what is trending on the internet.
If you love writing about trending topics, you will like these features.
It shows trending on Google Trends, Twitter trends etc
Keysearch Explorer

The feature makes it easy for me to analyse my competitor websites.
It shows a lot of data that can help you to identify how your competitors are performing, where they are getting backlinks, the types of content on their sites and other metrics.
I use this feature in two ways: for my own and competitors’ sites.
Let’s say I enter a competitor domain on the search bar; it will show some metrics about the domain, such as:
- Domain strength
- Number of backlinks
- Referring domains
- Organic traffic
- Top keywords and their position
- And much more
Competitive Analysis
The competitive analysis section is an advanced Keysearch feature for SEO competitive research.
Backlink Checker

The backlink checker helps find backlinks to any website or URL.
This feature works well for bloggers who like submitting guest posts to get backlinks. With this tool, you can check the DA and PA of any blog or website.
I spent more time analysing competitor backlink analysis using Ubersuggest, but I fell in love with the Keysearch backlink checker.
To check a site or URL’s backlinks, input the domain or specific page URL and click search.
The tool will show all the backlink URLs, anchors, and domain strength and tell if the link is dofollow or nofollow.
Why is this important?
I can find where your competitors are getting backlinks.
I click on the URL and contact the site owner to request a guest post submission.
I also use this feature to know the number of backlinks my page needs to outrank my competitors.
It takes me a few minutes to analyze a page and determine the number of do-follow and no-follow links.
If you’re an agency, you can use it to find guest post opportunities for your clients.
As a blogger, I use it to find decent blogs for guest post opportunities, which has worked well for my blogging business.
Organic Keywords

Organic keyword competitive analysis is a game changer in finding competitors’ keywords.
This is where you can get some low-competition keywords to rank on page 1 without any backlinks.
Firstly, find competitor sites that are getting organic traffic in your niche.
Input the URL in the Keysearch organic keyword and click search.
The software will show all the keywords for which the site ranks. Then, you can quickly filter the results to show only keywords with 3 to 4 words.
It shows metrics such as a list of keywords, search volume, traffic, CPC, and each page’s URL.
The next step is to filter the keyword based on the difficulty score.
I prefer to lower the core between 1 and 15, so I don’t care about all their keywords.
The results allow me to find the seed keyword and also get some secondary keywords to include in my blog post.
Once you filter the results, then you will be left with long tail keywords with very low competition.
Note: You can use a specific page instead of the whole website.
You can also set your search by rank, traffic, or volume.
The tool will pull out all the keywords for that page.
Site Audit
Site audit is a great way to check your blog’s or other websites’ health.
You will find any issues with your site when you conduct a site audit using Keysearch.
To audit a site, copy the URL into the search bar and click search.
The Keysearch site audit will generate a report listing SEO issues with the site, such as Meta tags, title tags, broken links etc.
The site audit aims to find all the technical SEO errors and show you how to fix them.
Competitor Gap
Keysearch Competitor Gap tool can combine multiple domains for keyword opportunities.
Sometimes, it may be challenging to find keywords to write about for your site.
This is where Keysearch provides help. You can easily find 2 to 3 competitors in your niche, copy their URLs in the competitor gap and click search.
I like the competitive gap because I can find some keywords that my competitors are ranking for that I don’t rank for.
To get the best results, limit the number of sites to three.
If you like performing competitor analysis to mining keywords, this feature is for you.
URL Metrics

The URL metrics are great for SEO monitoring. It shows URL metrics, page authority and domain authority.
What I like about this feature is that It allows me to do mass competitor research.
Find the list of competitor URLs, and copy them into the URL metrics and click search.
It allows a maximum of 20 URLs per search.
When the result is out, target websites with low DA and PA. It also depends on your domain authority. If your blog has DA of 10, you can’t target a site with DA of 65.
For example, if you have a site with a DA of 10, you can find competitors between 15 and 20.
You can easily compete with them and even outrank them when you produce quality and well-optimised content.
YouTube Research
The Keysearch YouTube research provides opportunities to find YouTube keywords to target.
There are 3 tools in this section.
- YouTube research
- YouTube difficulty
- YouTube list
If you’re a YouTuber or like creating videos to promote your blog, these features are essential for your video ranking.
Just enter your keyword and click search. It works like regular keyword research, and it is easy to filter keywords to find low-hanging fruit for easy ranking.
Keyword Rank Tracking
You may want to track your site’s search engine performance regarding keywords.
Keysearch provides opportunities to track keywords and how they are ranking.
The Keysearch starter plan allows one to track up to 80 keywords.
You may not be able to track all the keywords, but you can select the preferred ones manually.
Another exciting thing is the automatic report sent to your email to notify you about your ranking.
Rank tracker is the best SEO tool for tracking keyword rankings on search engines. This method can help you identify low-competition keywords on your page.
Content Assistance
Keysearch content assistant tool has helped me in many ways, including optimising my content with related keywords to improve my page ranking.
When you input your keyword in the search bar, it will analyse the top 10 results and show you the following:
- An average word count of the top 10 results
- The number of MUST words to add to your content
- Related keywords that your competitor ranks for
- Relevant snippets that can help your article
- Related questions if you want to add FAQ to your blog post
There is much more to get from content assistance to improve your content for higher ranking.
When I finish my article, I copy it into the Keysearch optimiser and make changes based on its recommendations.
The Keysearch Content Assistance works like Surfer SEO. SurferSEO may cost you $50 a month, and you don’t pay extra for this feature.
Keysearch AI
You probably have heard about AI, which has changed how bloggers and other online marketers perform daily activities.
Keysearch introduced AI to help its users, and it is a game changer.
The Keysearch starter plan gets 5,000 AI credits per month.
The AI works with content assistance. You can use it to create Headlines, introductions, conclusions, Meta descriptions, etc.
I prefer to use the AI feature for headlines and meta descriptions, although I also use ChatGPT to perform some tasks.
24/7 customer support
If you have any issues or need help, they have amazing support to answer your questions and solve any challenge.
They provide a knowledge base where you can find many answers to your questions.
The knowledge base section contains articles on how to upgrade or cancel your account, among other things.
SEO Crash Course
The Keysearch SEO crash course is a complete course for beginners and experts to learn how to rank higher in search engines.
From beginner’s guide to SEO to black hat link building.
They cover almost all aspects of SEO, so you’re not only using the Keysearch tool, you will also have a good knowledge of search engine optimisation with the help of their training.

Now we are at the end of the review of the Keysearch software.
Are you ready to give the tool a try?
You can use the Keysearch software for free for 7 days, and if you’re not satisfied, you can cancel your account.
There are many keyword research tools, but I prefer the Keysearch tool..
I have tested other keyword research software, but KeySearch gives me what I want. It’s straightforward to use and has a user-friendly interface.
When comparing Keysearch with other tools like SemRush, Ahrefs, etc, you will realise there is little difference despite their cost.
I have used both SEO tools, and Keysearch is still my go-to.
